Paolo Cogliati was born in Rome, Italy in 1991 and was catapulted to Japan in 1999 at the age of eight. He discovered and self taught himself animation from the age of nine, leading to various freelance and internship opportunities throughout highschool and college, decided on pursuing a career in the wonderful industry of animation. 

In 2009, he moved to Sarasota, Florida, to join the computer animation program at Ringling College of Art and Design. Further continuing his studies and strive to be a character animator, Paolo was accepted to the Gobelins l'école de l'image character animation workshop in the summer of 2011 taught by Kyle Balda and Louis Clichy, among others. 

In his free time, Paolo loves to sketch, travel and meet new people.
